‘Echoes of Love’ is a registered non-profit organization that abides by the principle of placing human values over creed, caste and race. We seek to provide disadvantaged families with the skills and support needed to usher society into a realm where each family in every community country wide can achieve economic independence. The aid that ‘Echoes of Love’ will provide to families is holistic, in that it will target every member of the family, young and old, with the realisation that each individual’s needs may differ. The poor can no longer be looked at as one collective whole devoid of specificity and individual needs. ‘Echoes of Love’ thus seeks to meet the specific needs of each family member with the aim to transform them into active participants of society. Our projects thus focus on skills development, motivation, social development, economic independence and empowerment. Our motto Nishkamya Karma Yoga means quite simply that we set our efforts apart by taking action without the expectation of fruits. The fruits of our labour can be found in the positive changes made in the lives of those we assist. The language is Sanskrit and is so ancient that it is no longer spoken. The lesson in this is that wisdom; goodwill and courage to overcome difficulties are timeless values and can be transported from any era in history to guide the reality we all face now. The reality we can no longer ignore in the society in which we live is that suffering and basic depravation is becoming the norm. Join hands with ‘Echoes of Love’ as we dismantle this trend and change the lives of those who need it most. This is the triumph of the human spirit over the frailty of human suffering. It is the junction where hope is fulfilled by love, compassion and warmth! |
