Grocery Hamper Project
“Echoes of Love” has undertaken a Grocery Hamper Project which strives to provide the needy with basic items to ease the strain of daily living. The niche of this project is to give monthly grocery hampers to destitute families. The hamper consists of eighteen items ranging from soap to vegetables to sugar and tea, items which will meet the essential needs of an average family.
All the projects of ‘Echoes of Love’ will be moulded with the achievement of one goal in mind. This will be to guide each family towards achieving the ideal of economic independence. Thus the grocery hamper marks the beginning for each family as we walk beside them on the road towards a brighter future. The parcel should be sufficient for an estimated 2 week period and will be distributed at the beginning of each month. Local councillors and community leaders will be used to ensure that those families selected do indeed live below the bread line.
