I have been teaching for over forty years and have been a principal for sixteen of those years. I hold B.Com and a B.Ed. degree and am a passionate educator. As a committee member of the Shree Benoni Gujarati Hindu Seva Semaj, I have sought to best serve the community in which I live through work done in this religious body. I have a passion for community service which has been best expressed in the personal interest I take in shaping a positive future for my students and all young people. I have taught in 4 Secondary Schools in the East Rand area over the years. My exposure to the different dynamics facing each community has allowed me to deepen my understanding of the reality facing those in need. I now seek to use this lifetime experience to aid those in need and am very excited that young people have taken it upon themselves to steer this process through the work done by Echoes of Love.
